Hackers are a growing threat for businesses.
And they’re getting smarter by the day.
Hacks used to be fairly obvious,
but these days they are far more subtle.
Luckily there are a few tell-tale signs that can alert you to a hack before too much damage can be done.
The first is a slow computer.
If your machine seems slower than usual,
it could be because hackers are running additional software in the background.
The second sign is unusual email activity.
If you find that your account has been sending emails without your permission,
this is a sure sign that a breach has taken place.
And the third sign is unusual computer activity.
Keep a lookout for anything else that seems unusual.
If you use the same machine regularly,
you should be able to sense if something is not right.
Trust your gut feel.
If you notice any of these signs,
or anything else that could suggest you’ve been hacked,
it’s important to speak with your IT support company straight away.

“Our email wasn’t performing very well so we asked Hamilton Systems to take a look & Carl proposed to migrate us to MS Exchange.
Carl was very helpful throughout & the migration went very well.
He was on hand to sort out any teething issues, taking calls early morning & into the night, to ensure we were up & running smoothly.
Would recommend for knowledge, attention to detail & great customer service.”
