How to add a Shared Mailbox to the iPhone?
We used to hear people say you are unable to add a Shared Mailbox to the iPhone, but on August 29th 2019 Outlook was updated to add this feature.
I use it and it is great, there was another way to do this but Microsoft has made this ineffective due to Modern Authentication.
Step One:
Open the AppStore and search for Outlook, to begin downloading hit get and follow the prompts or wait for the download to complete.
Step Two:
Open Outlook and add your Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Exchange Mailbox by Clicking the Mail icon and following the prompts.
Step Three:
Tap the Home Button to get to the side menu.
Step Four:
Select the Mail icon as in step two and select Add Shared Mailbox.
Step Five:
Type the name of the Shared Mailbox and select Add Shared Mailbox button.
Step Six:
You will see the a spinning circle and then the account will be added.
Step Seven:
Hit the Home icon as in step 3 and select the Shared Mailbox account, this will match the initials of the Mailbox.

“Our email wasn’t performing very well so we asked Hamilton Systems to take a look & Carl proposed to migrate us to MS Exchange.
Carl was very helpful throughout & the migration went very well.
He was on hand to sort out any teething issues, taking calls early morning & into the night, to ensure we were up & running smoothly.
Would recommend for knowledge, attention to detail & great customer service.”
